We are back. We are back from sun & fun. We are back from incredibly rock-hard, sleeping-on-the-ground, tenting. Now, I will say that I can camp with the best of them. In fact, if I didn't have, you know, responsibilities, I would spend the summer migrating from this campsite to that one. I adore it. There is just something about being outside, removed from electricity, removed from running water and flushing toilets.
However, I was forced to admit something on this trip and that is ---I am pregnant. Yes, Yes, I am and my ability to remain comfortable has shifted dramatically. I'm not going to give myself a hard time about this. I'm not going to consider myself a wuss. I'm just going to chalk this up to impending motherhood and hope that this time next year will find us with bebe in tow on many camping trips and my comfort level restored to normal.
I did manage to get some relaxation in and the beginnings of a healthy sunburn. Moose commented on, well, on how relaxed I was. I think he was wondering where his sunny faerie girl had gone in recent months. She returned out in the national forest on the banks of Panther creek.
Hopefully she can remain that way.
I did get some serious contemplative work done on my book and some ideas on how to proceed. I think I need to rework about the last 25% of what I've written. I need to get to work on that today and see what I can come up with.
I must keep the muse going. She's been flitting here and there, here and there.
