In the last week, I've been thinking about nourishment and how it relates to a person's overall health. Then I was thinking about health and what it entails. Feeling and being healthy involves a sense of well-being in all aspects of one's life. Reduction of stress greatly aids in this. My life is extraordinarily busy. Even if I am home, I barely sit down until the evening. Such is life with two toddlers, one of whom is still quite a bit higher maintenance than most children.
I've decided to commit to making/trying 365 new or newly modified recipes in an attempt to get them to eat, but I can't kill myself by committing to it being daily. While I will do my best to do this daily, life gets in the way and this first week was no exception.
I am sitting in the hospital with Max as I write this. There is nothing wrong. He had a routine biopsy scheduled. But, it was supposed to be an outpatient all-day deal. A day before the actual biopsy, I found out they had decided to admit him overnight. So, we've been here since 930 yesterday morning. Being in the hospital makes it difficult to cook, as you might imagine.
I still have day 6's recipe to post and I am going to attempt to write that up this morning while the Emperor continues to sleep peacefully.
So, stay tuned...
